California Women’s Therapy offers a number of opportunities to join our team.
CWT Training Programs
Undergraduate students and recent college grads can join the team for a 12-week, unpaid non-clinical internship experience to gain real world experience in the field of mental health.
Pre-licensed psychologists who are currently enrolled in a doctoral program in psychology and are seeking pre-doctoral work experience and those who have already earned in their doctoral degree in psychology and are seeking post-doctoral work experience can apply for our Psychological Associate positions.
For Licensed Psychologists
California Women’s Therapy began as a team of psychologists with active California Psychologist licenses.
Doctoral level licensed psychologists can come on board as independent contractors.
Our positions begin as a part-time opportunity, and you’re welcome to continue your work elsewhere for as long as you’d like.
The dual goals of California Women’s Therapy are (1) to improve the mental health and lives of our clients and (2) to provide a real opportunity for psychologists who aren’t interested in (or able to) find clients on their own to earn fair compensation for the worthy work they are doing.
Are you a psychologist who is passionate about helping women to overcome their struggles and move forward in their lives?
As we continue to grow, we’ll be adding new California-licensed psychologists to our team.
Psychologists with expertise in women’s mental health issues will be invited to come on board as independent contractors. BIPOC candidates are encouraged to apply.
We’re passionate about allowing our providers to focus on providing excellent clinical care rather than excessive paperwork, meetings, or marketing. Potential providers must be licensed in the same state their clients are in; however, you can live and work from anywhere. The majority of our sessions are conducted remotely, through live video or telephone.
We offer flexibility, autonomy, and competitive compensation with room for growth. Psychologists will decide which clients they would like to work with and make their own schedules.
You’ll also be joining a team of fellow therapists passionate about helping women improve their mental health and their lives, while also advancing the mental health field by making therapy more accessible.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, you are encouraged to contact Dr. Jordyn Trockman at [email protected] for additional information or to submit your resume or CV for review.
