California Women’s Therapy offers three unique opportunities to join our team:
- licensed psychologists can come on board as independent contractors
- masters and doctoral students in mental health fields can join as practicum students, working under the supervision of some of our licensed psychologists
- undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent college grads can join the team for a 12-week, unpaid internship experience
California Women’s Therapy offers 12-week (or shorter) internships to those who are seeking real-world experience in the field of mental health. This unpaid internship is available to current college students, recent college graduates, and current graduate students.
Multiple internship cohorts are offered per year. We are currently accepting applications for those interested in joining us for an internship beginning in September or November of 2021.
California Women’s Therapy offers clinical training experiences for those enrolled in masters and doctoral programs in mental health. These practicum positions are for graduate school credit and involve direct clinical work under the supervision of our training team.
We are currently reviewing applications for new practicum students to begin their training in August/September 2021, January 2022, and Summer 2022.
California Women’s Therapy is a team of psychologists with active California PSY licenses.
This would begin as a part-time opportunity, and you’re welcome to continue your work elsewhere, including our “competitors” in the online therapy world.
The dual goals of California Women’s Therapy are (1) to improve the mental health and lives of our clients and (2) to provide a real opportunity for psychologists who aren’t interested in (or able to) find clients on their own to earn fair compensation for the worthy work they are doing.
Are you a psychologist who is passionate about helping women to overcome their struggles and move forward in their lives?
As we continue to grow, we’ll be adding new California-licensed psychologists to our team. Psychologists with expertise in women’s mental health issues will be invited to come on board as independent contractors.
We’re passionate about allowing our providers to focus on providing excellent clinical care rather than excessive paperwork, meetings, or marketing. Potential providers must be licensed in the same state their clients are in; however, you can live and work from anywhere. The majority of our sessions are conducted remotely, through live video or telephone.
We offer flexibility, autonomy, and competitive compensation with room for growth. Psychologists will decide which clients they would like to work with and make their own schedules.
You’ll also be joining a team of fellow therapists passionate about helping women improve their mental health and their lives, while also advancing the mental health field by making therapy more accessible.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, you are encouraged to contact Dr. Jordyn Trockman at DrJordyn@CaliforniaWomensTherapy.com for additional information or to submit your resume or CV for review.
