Practicum Students

Our “Practicum Students” are pre-licensed therapists who are currently completing a master’s or doctoral program in psychology, professional counseling, or a related mental health field.

These pre-licensed therapists are working under the supervision of our training team — which consists of Dr. Talia Barach (our Director of Training) and our clinical supervisors: Dr. Deepti Vaswani, Dr. Christina Zavalza, Dr. Theresa Cao, Dr. Laura Ruaro, and our owner & founder, Dr. Jordyn Trockman.

The standard fee for individual psychotherapy with our Practicum Students is $75 per session.

For clients experiencing severe financial hardship, discounts may be available.

Meet Our Practicum Students

Stephanie Dunton

California Women’s Therapy Practicum Student

Pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Saybrook University

Master’s Degree in Positive Psychology with a concentration in Coaching from Life University 

Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Virginia State University 

Stephanie is currently adding potential new clients to her waiting list.

Stephanie Dunton is pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Saybrook University. She has previously earned a Master’s in Positive Psychology with a concentration in Coaching and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Virginia State University. 

Stephanie has experience working with adolescents, young adults, and military personnel. In addition to providing psychotherapy, she has experience conducting psychological evaluations to clarify diagnoses, determine appropriate recommendations, and provide education about mental health recovery. 

Stephanie enjoys working with adolescents, preteens, and adults (especially college students/young adults beginning their transition into adulthood). She is looking forward to supporting a variety of individuals while gaining clinical experience during her time with California Women’s Therapy. 

Fun fact about Stephanie: she enjoys making açai bowls, traveling, and spending time with family. 

Stephanie is working under the primary supervision of Dr. Deepti Vaswani.

Beth Augspurger

Master’s student at Upper Iowa University pursuing her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling 

PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology

Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University

Bachelor’s Degree Psychology from Upper Iowa University

Dr. Beth Augspurger is pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Upper Iowa University. She previously earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Upper Iowa University, Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University, and a doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. 

Beth has experience working with families and individuals with diverse backgrounds and multiple diagnoses. She has provided behavioral services to families in their homes, clinical settings, and children and adolescence in school settings. Her background in behavior analysis allows for a function-based approach to cognition and internalizing behaviors and allows for treatment options that are centered on client needs and preferences. 

Beth finds joy in life-long learning and is devoted to helping others through her work in psychology. She is particularly passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression. As a working mother of two (ages 9 and 6), she is also able to relate to the stressors and celebrations of daily life. Beth looks forward to supporting women with various mental health needs.

Tondria Hall

California Women’s Therapy Practicum Student

Master’s student at Colorado Christian University pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Counseling

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix

Tondria is not accepting new clients at this time.

Tondria Hall is a Master’s student at Colorado Christian University pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Counseling. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.  Tondria was born in Carmichael, CA, and raised in Stockton, CA, where she currently resides. In her free time, she enjoys painting and going on long hikes with her family.

Tondria is naturally drawn to helping people of all ages and life stages. Her relevant work experience includes group counseling with probationers and at-risk youth as well as therapeutic behavioral services and crisis mobilization with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is especially interested in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and/or may be re-entering into society from a season of incarceration. Tondria loves making a safe space for people to feel seen and heard. 

Tondria is working under the primary supervision of Dr. Theresa Cao.
